Kriegers to Chair Friends of the Seminary 2012

The seminary is privileged to announce that Rosemary and Ben Krieger, long time SVdP supporters will be the Co-Chairs of Friends of the Seminary, 2012.

The Kriegers, members of St. Jude Parish in Boca Raton have been volunteers and supporters of St. Vincent's for many years. Over the past six years, Ben has served on the Development Council, as well as the Friends of the Seminary and Joe-Paddy event committees. Recently, he played a vital role as a member of the Feasibility Study Committee. "Ben and I are honored to be a part of this important mission to educate seminarians who will be priests and provide spiritual leadership for God's people for many years to come," said Rosemary.

Although they are active volunteers at SVdP their charity doesn't end there. The Kriegers are also members of the seminary's Legacy Society and Rector's Guild, a special group of donors who support the seminary financially.

Their charity work extends beyond St. Vincent's. Rosemary and Ben have been recognized for their inexhaustible charity work. The March of Dimes, AVDA, Catholic Charities, Food for the Poor, and the Boca Raton Rotary are among some of the charitable organizations they are involved in. Their support of the Rotary's College Scholarship Program led them to mentor a young student from Columbia who currently attends Palm Beach State College.

The Kriegers' volunteerism and advocacy work in conjunction with the leadership roles they have taken on in the local community has certainly made a profound difference in the lives of many.
