Seminiary was Reaccredited in 2010 for 10 More Years
St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 3003-4097: Telephone number 404-679-4501) to award Masters’ degrees.
After a 2 year process beginning in 2008, lead by Msgr. Stephen Bosso, former Rector of the Seminary, the seminary was informed in late 2010 it had been reaccredited for an additional 10 years.
St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary initially received accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools in 1974; accreditation was renewed in 1984, 1990, 2000 and 2010.
The Association of Theological Schools of the United States and Canada, (10 Summit Park Drive, Pittsburgh PA 15275-1103: Telephone: 412-788-6505, Fax: 412-788-6510) also fully accredits the seminary. Accreditation from the Association of Theological Schools was first received in 1984 and renewed in 1990, 2000 and 2010.
