Director of Advancement Visits Catholics in Connecticut
Don Bosak, a donor and friend of the seminary, recently invited Director of Institutional Advancement, Stanton Cadow, to Stamford Connecticut, all expenses paid, for several meetings and social gatherings. Don invited him to his summer hometown for meetings with promient local Catholics. Mr. Bosak spends several months a year in the Boynton area and has supported the seminary financially and as a volunteer for many years. While in Connecticut, they visited with Knights of Columbus officials in New Haven, the International Headquarters. Together they toured the building and visited the Knights Museum. Later they met with Armand De Toro, Endowment Coordinator, to discuss plans to create a special fund which would benefit the seminary and explore how Canadian citizens can make gifts to St. Vincent.
Cadow was also a guest of Bosak for several golf outings and a series of lunches and dinners with area Catholics who winter in the Naples area. In addition, Stanton met with Joseph Miller, and his wife Barbara. Mr. Miller is the American Association, U.S.A. President of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta.
During Stanton's visit tentative plans to organize a reception in Naples during the next season were discussed. Mr. Bosak has a passion to help expand and raise the level of awareness among snowbirds about St. Vincent and the mission to support vocations.
