Annual Sheriff's Office Softball Game

On Sunday, March 13th at 3 in the afternoon the seminarians of St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary hosted some deputies from the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office for a game of softball, a barbecue, and family fun. The day has become an annual tradition since 2012. This year the seminarians from St. Vincent de Paul defeated the Sheriff's Deputies 10-9 in our first win since the inaugural year.

Msgr. David Toups, Rector of St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary, played right field in the game and stated that the game was "a wonderful event designed to foster a great working relationship between our seminarians and the deputies who the seminarians help with chaplaincy." Overall, the event was a great success and both sides are already looking forward to next year's game.
