Position Title:  Development Administrative Assistant

Primary Function:

The Development Assistant will provide a broad range of administrative support to the development staff including but not limited to database management, event planning and annual appeals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Primary

  • Process donations and prepare acknowledgement letters and other correspondence
  • Maintain donor management database entries (routinely update and correct database records as needed)
  • Create monthly fundraising reports and other database reports as needed
  • Conduct preliminary research on prospective corporate foundation and individual donors
  • Assist in coordination, production and distribution of special appeals
  • Maintain guest lists, gather and prepare registration materials and other duties as assigned for fund-raising events; assemble donor kits for events and meetings as needed
  • Handle administrative details associated with group visits for donors, Catholic organizations and extension program
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Development or his/her designee.

Secondary

  • Provide general administrative assistance to other departments as needed.

Experience Required:
Minimum 2 years administrative experience
Database Managment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
