St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary
You can help form them today.
Across the Southeast, the Church is growing. More and more people are coming through the doors of local parishes, searching for God. But too often, there aren't enough well-formed priests to serve them. That is why our seminary exists, and it is why we are asking for your help.
Give nowFr. Mac Hill was raised Catholic, but his faith wasn't deeply personal. In college, his life began to spiral: partying, poor choices, and a growing sense that something was missing.
One night, he prayed a simple prayer: "God, I want to live for you." And God answered.
Shortly after, he sensed God inviting him to the priesthood and came to St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary to be formed for that calling. By God's grace, he was ordained in 2021 and now is pastor of a thriving, multicultural parish and school in Gainesville, Florida, where Mass is offered in four languages. His formation at our seminary prepared him for that reality.
And he's not alone. Right now, over 130 men are in formation at our seminary, preparing to serve the Church like Fr. Mac.

Priestly formation has to be about more than good theological training. Our program follows the structure laid out by St. John Paul II. When a seminarian walks through our doors, he is formed as a whole person: humanly, spiritually, intellectually, and pastorally.
That means weekly prayer and personal formation with other seminarians, communal meals, hands-on experience in prison ministry and teaching faith formation, and international mission trips to gain bilingual ministry skills. The priests we form serve communities in 13 dioceses across Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, and beyond. Perhaps one is serving in your own parish.
First, please pray for seminarians. The Prayer for Vocations below is the one our community prays; we would be grateful if you made it your own.
Second, please give today. Your gift of $50, $100, $250, or whatever you can afford will raise up the next generation of priests who'll serve our growing Church. Every gift helps ensure the Church has well-formed priests to celebrate the Sacraments, preach the Gospel, and shepherd our communities.
O Master of the Harvest, who call workers to serve selflessly in your vineyard, that the seed may be sown and bear fruit in the hearts of many, send fresh laborers for the harvest, that your kingdom might be built up throughout the world.
Raise up and transform the hearts of many men who will serve the Church as holy priests, that they may be strong in faith and full of love for your holy people.
May St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary always be faithful to Jesus Christ, the True Vine, who lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen.
Yes, Father Hernández! I'll help raise up the next generation of priests who will serve the growing Church.
